Lotus Racing today unveiled its 2010 challenger, the Lotus Cosworth T127, at a glittering event in London’s Royal Horticultural Hall. Team Principal Tony Fernandes was joined on stage by Chief Technical Officer Mike Gascoyne and drivers Jarno Trulli, Heikki Kovalainen and Fairuz Fauzy to take the wraps off the car in front of a 500 strong live audience.

The Avon Tyres British GT Championship claimed another motor-sporting first today at Brands Hatch when twin brothers David and Godfrey Jones took the first British GT championship win shared by siblings but is believed also to be a UK first for twins.

Team ORECA-Matmut-AIM took the checkered flag in first place in the LMP1 class, whereas Speedy Racing Team Sebah won for the first time of the season in the LMP2 class. Gigawave Motorsport took the victory in the GT1 class and JMW Motorsport ruled the GT2 class.

Duncan Cameron and Matt Griffin took their, and MTECH’s, first British GT victory at Silverstone this weekend. The pair led for much of the two hours and ultimately won the race by half a minute.
